CITATION #4: Red Line Train towards Union Station around 5:20 pm August 24th, 2009
Spotted: Two young teenage boys sitting in the Senior Seat next to the door. An older gentleman boards with a cane and politely asks them to move so he can sit down. No response. He waits, and then asks them again. The teenagers pretend they don't hear him and continue listening to their music.
Result: The gentleman takes his cane and jabs it into one of the boys sneakers and yells, "Get up before, I beat you!" With the faint sound of Lil Wayne coming from their headphones, the teenagers grab their belongings and scurry away without a word.
Lesson: Be a gentleman and give your seat up to someone in need. Especially when that someone has a possible weapon at their disposal.
